EXOD — Quake Style First-Person Shooter

Hi! My name is Andrey. I've been developing this game for over a year and I'm finally ready to show you the first demo.

Since childhood I've played Quake 1, Quake 2 and Half-Life. These games had a huge influence on me, and I've long wanted to create my own game in this style. EXOD is what I ended up with. I hope you enjoy the work I've put into this project ❤️

STORY

You are scientist Kane. While performing routine tasks, you receive strange signals from an unexplored system. Flying in orbit around planet Zantera, you come across a space station that suddenly opens fire. Your ship crashes onto the station, and this is where your fight for survival against an unknown enemy begins.

ZOMBROIDS 

The first faction you will face is the Zombroids — a race of cyborgs revived on planet Zantera. They are led by a mega-computer that was once created by humans to control military stations and protect humanity from external threats. Due to a malfunction, it was classified and hidden in secret regions of the galaxy.

Axe, ZX-7 Cyborg Pistol, Shotgun

ENEMIES IN DEMO

• ▸ Fabricator — Worker cyborgs with sharp manipulator arms. They perform routine tasks and can use their manipulators as weapons.
• ▸ XT-Defender — Heavy armored security cyborgs. They use ZX-7 pistols.
• ▸ Security Turret — Automated defense systems used to protect important objects.

THE SPACE STATION

The station you crash on is a transport and teleportation hub for cargo and cyborgs between orbit and the planet. You will need to escape this station and find a way to survive on the dangerous planet Zantera.

FUTURE PLANS

• ▸ New faction Freaks — Anarchic human-like survivors who use scrapped cyborg weapons and armor.
• ▸ Dangerous planetary fauna (almost all predators due to harsh environment).
• ▸ 1-2 types of vehicles with upgrade system.
• ▸ New levels, weapons and enemies.
